[𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆: 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗠 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 / 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟯] Advanced battery systems benefit from nanoscale insights into surface morphology, mechanical properties and electrochemical behaviour. Park Systems AFMs can be integrated into gloveboxes, enabling measurements on air- and moisture-sensitive battery materials in controlled, inert environments. In this application note, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘀𝘀 and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘇 demonstrate AFM-SECM using a Park NX10 inside a glovebox. Combining AFM imaging, localised electrochemical measurements and PinPoint™ nanomechanical mapping, the approach connects surface structure and mechanical properties with electrochemical activity, supporting research into battery electrode interfaces and interphases. 💡𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: t.co/92MAnyo0M2 #AFM #SECM #Electrochemistry #BatteryResearch #Nanomechanics #ParkSystems
