#Somali students are protesting against the failure of the Somali Ministry of Education to prioritise Somali history in schools and colleges, while foreign history is being taught first. I swear to God, how on earth is foreign history considered more important than our own? 🇸🇴 This is a shocking failure of the Ministry of Education. Somalia is still suffering from a form of psychological colonisation when our own students have to protest just to learn their own history, heritage and identity.

@EIshmael_ There is no quality education in Somalia, its business.The people running it lack knowledge, while qualified experts were pushed out due to tribalism.The president Hassan and farah minister of education were made money from education without producing any well educated children
