Manhunt Update - Day 6 Six days after escaping a Tennessee prison, convicted murderer Jacob Morley (28) is still missing. No confirmed new sightings, no arrest, and apparently no indication of where he might be. But there are a few interesting developments. The reward for information leading to Morley’s capture has increased to $17,500. TBI is now asking residents to check vacation homes, hunting cabins, barns, garages, sheds, and other outbuildings for signs of suspicious activity. They’re also encouraging people to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbors. And here’s something that caught my attention. A former cellmate reportedly claimed that Morley had talked about an ex-girlfriend living in Wisconsin. Wisconsin. The same state where an armed bank robbery took place Tuesday, just two days after Morley escaped. 👀 Investigators are examining whether Morley could be connected to that robbery, although nothing has been confirmed. His stolen truck was recovered abandoned in Marion, Illinois, on Tuesday. The Wisconsin bank robber also fled in a stolen vehicle, which was later found abandoned. Is the Wisconsin connection a coincidence? Maybe. But it’s certainly worth looking into. Meanwhile, an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Morley’s escape is underway, and questions remain about security at Northwest Correctional Complex. Day 6. Still no confirmed sighting. Still no arrest. Jacob Morley is gone. 📸 TDOC
