I like the idea that it's actually a post, post, post apocalypse and basically humanity is simply going round again and is back at cowboys.
Respawn Mafia@RespawnMafia
This to me is the scariest thing in the game https://t.co/aZrx9VhbE8
@LavenderGhast The "ye olde times is actually the far far future" is one of my favorite tropes.
@LavenderGhast This would be a cool concept. In RDR2’s case, there is a time traveler guy who you help out, but he’s just from the 1920s/1930s I believe, and his story doesn’t really go anywhere. t.co/pehxGzc3kE
@LavenderGhast Close enough. Welcome back Dark Tower t.co/SZmRcUVNuE
@LavenderGhast Literally t.co/FVHjRhykiN
@LavenderGhast "Christianity again? after cowboys? you went all the way back around?" t.co/YMNZjZDPJD
@LavenderGhast It always have been cowboys all along t.co/Wbsm063tyo
@LavenderGhast Would explain why the States in America are different.
@LavenderGhast This is already a thing surprisingly t.co/WXv96J399D
@LavenderGhast This is actually the concept behind Far Cry. The events of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon happen BEFORE the prehistoric Caveman game Far Cry Primal. The earth was destroyed via nuclear war and radiation in “2007”, leading to cavemen and some humans developing superhuman senses
@LavenderGhast Heh...you should read the "Council Wars" series...by John Ringo...that will absolutely flip ideas upside down. But yes...its an interesting story none the less. And that little Easter Egg would make you think no? t.co/t8AZqTCjU2
@LavenderGhast wait til you finally learn about the real atlantis, the real tartaria and the real agartha... this isn't the first time humanity peaked i'll tell you that much. let's ask Noah.
@LavenderGhast ding ding ding! I think the same thing to be honest, we're on a fucking snake cycle. t.co/hw4XgC9i9b
@LavenderGhast If this is true, then the world probably began around when Dutch was born... t.co/bGFm5lDuJk
@LavenderGhast if you think about it, the rdr2 world is actually pretty bad, like you literally have ghosts, vampires, aliens, giants, time travelers and probably more. it is kind of a terrifying world.
@LavenderGhast t.co/RtVireQ7VV
@LavenderGhast It’s the time traveler you meet
@LavenderGhast A red dead canticle for leibowitz
@LavenderGhast "Christianity? after Cowboys?? You guys went all the way back around!?"
@LavenderGhast That's not what's happening, this is the quest where you meet the time traveler.
@LavenderGhast Isn't there time travel in Red Dead?
@LavenderGhast RDR2 takes place after GTA 6
@LavenderGhast Cloud Atlas (2012)
@LavenderGhast t.co/gpxxYydMlF
@LavenderGhast Would be a great in universe reason as to why the United States are all Islands in GTA 😂
@LavenderGhast entire rockstar universe is a simulation inside of the science fiction game they actually want to make
@LavenderGhast What I love about RDR2 is that as soon as you go off from the story Arthur falls right into the Weird West
@LavenderGhast They went from fallout to RedDead lol
@LavenderGhast In the original planet of the apes, the apes overthrow modern humans and take over their operations as they were but when the story starts in the future the apes are operating stone age style with sticks and stones and the only reminants of the human world was a stash of guns
@LavenderGhast Cowboys had alot of luxuries
@LavenderGhast That explains the robot easter egg
@LavenderGhast Ahh, yes... The Forerunners are human.
@LavenderGhast Horizon Zero Dawn, but without the technology, and we've moved time periods
@LavenderGhast What is New Vegas
@LavenderGhast Well if the universe is truly infinite, that would be true
@LavenderGhast Na, some time traveler
